The total admissions or no. of tickets sold for the first 5 days is 2,866,870, making the film the second highest opening of all time in Korea. The number is expected to increase on its 2nd and 3rd week and might reach 10 million viewers. And here's the catch, Kim Soo Hyun promised to give the 10,000,000th moviegoer a piggyback and watch the movie together. That's so sweet! I hope he keeps that promise. And I'm wishing they will hit that target.

T.O.P returns to the big screen
Guess who's coming back to the big screen? Fangirls, rejoice! T.O.P has been recently confirmed to star in the upcoming film, Alumnus.
Alumnus will be directed by Park Shin-woo. The story will be about a young man whose father is a North Korean spy dispatched in South Korea. He follows his father in the South, and chooses to become a spy in order to protect his younger sister. T.O.P will play the role of a high school student, who will be taking out all the spies sent to the South. Waah! I can imagine how hot and badass he will be. But I hope more than the action scenes, they will establish a good story.

Jeon Ji Hyun leaves for Berlin
Okay, because I'm a huge fan of Jeon Ji Hyun everything about her is newsworthy.
Yesterday, May 6, newlywed Jeon was spotted in Incheon airport leaving for Berlin, Germany. She will be filming another action spy movie titled In Berlin. The film uses Berlin as backdrop and the plot primarily centers around a North Korean gang member, played by Ha Jung Woo, who manages to infiltrate into a South Korean gang. Jeon Ji Hyun's role will be Ha Jung Woo's wife and an elite agent, who disguises as an interpreter for the North Korean embassy. Hmmm....another North-South? Joining them in the cast are Han Suk Kyu and Ryoo Seung Bum.

Movie Review: Level 7 Civil Servant

Her boyfriend Lee Jae-joon (Kang Ji-hwan) breaks up with her because of her constant lies, when she is only trying to hide her identity. He leaves for Canada to study International Accounting. Three years later, while in mission and disguised as janitress, she bumps into Jae-joon again who is now a Certified International Accountant. But this is only a cover for Jae-joon. He is actually a rookie agent for Harimao, an NIS department that specializes in overseas mission. Their paths continue to cross as they run after the same Russian crime group.

Angelica Lee in the movie "The Thieves"
When I first saw the trailer for the movie The Thieves, I was asking who this girl in short hair, equally as hot and sexy as Jeon Ji Hyun is. I looked over the cast and I found the name Angelica Lee. Sounds familiar, right? Yes, it's Angelica Lee or known to most of us as Mun in the movie The Eye, the hit Asian horror film by Pang brothers.
The Eye was one of my favorite horror films (

Movie Review: Daisy
It's been 5 years since the first time I watched this movie. It may not be the best of the best movies but it is one of those I watch over again every once in a while. It never fails to captivate my heart. This film is sad, romantic, sad, action and sad.
It has a powerhouse cast, story written by Kwak Jae Yong, the one behind My Sassy Girl, The Classic and Windstruck, and it's under the direction of Hongkong director Andrew Lau, notable for his action and crime films. What more to ask from this movie.
