T.O.P returns to the big screen

Guess who's coming back to the big screen? Fangirls, rejoice! T.O.P has been recently confirmed to star in the upcoming film, Alumnus

Alumnus will be directed by Park Shin-woo. The story will be about a young man whose father is a North Korean spy dispatched in South Korea. He follows his father in the South, and chooses to become a spy in order to protect his younger sister. T.O.P will play the role of a high school student, who will be taking out all the spies sent to the South. Waah! I can imagine how hot and badass he will be. But I hope more than the action scenes, they will establish a good story.

So many spy action films coming up this year. We have Jeon Ji Hyun's In Berlin, Kim Soo Hyun's Covertly, Grandly, and the recent addition, T.O.P's Alumnus. And guess what, they are all playing the role of a North Korean agent in disguise. Yep, North-South crossover is the trend in Korean action films and dramas lately.

Let's see which one will be the best spy movie this year. I'm rooting for In Berlin!
