Jeon Ji Hyun is back on the big screen!

Jeon Ji Hyun (Snow flower and the Secret Fan) is set to come back to big screen this coming July with the film The Thieves. Headlining the movie with her is another A lister, Lee Jung-jae. This will be their second team up after starring in the romantic time travel movie Il Mare.

The story centers around a heist in a Macau casino by 10 professional thieves. Joining the cast are Kim Hye-soo, Kim Yoon-seok, Oh Dal-soo, Kim Hae-sook, and Kim Soo-hyun.

Yes, Kim Soo-hyun is another reason to be excited about this movie, he'll be playing the character Zampano, a trainee and the youngest member of the team. He is indeed a big star in the making. After his breakthrough role in Dream High, he was offered the main lead in the historical drama The Moon That Embraces the Sun, and now he's joining this caper film topbilled by big and veteran stars. Wow, I'm impressed!

In the movie, the characters will be using interesting nicknames, for the Korean team we have—the big boss Macau Park (Kim Yoon-seok); the mastermind Popeye (Lee Jung-jae); tightrope walking Anycall (Jeon Ji Hyun); the legendary safe cracker Pepsi (Kim Hye-soo); gum snapping Chewing Gum (Kim Hae-sook); cowardly gunman Andrew (Oh Dal-soo) and romanticist rookie Zampano (Kim Soo-hyun). They will be working with the Chinese team—leader Chen (Simon Yam), Johnny (Derek Tsang), and Julie (Angelica Lee).

The movie seems to be a copycat of the Hollywood film Ocean's eleven but I'm sure, with its powerhouse cast and skilled director, they will give justice to the Hollywood franchise.
