Anya hands to Holly the confirmation letter for the date. She accepts it but says she's nervous because it is still a lie. Anya agrees it is sort of a lie but reassures her that it's fine, they are not stepping on anyone's toes anyway. She jokes on her by asking if she has plans to kidnap Josh Bradley.
Ninang Volta is upset when he learns that Anya gave away her letter. He calls her crazy for letting the chance to date Josh Bradley to pass, and adds she should have given the letter to him instead (haha that is if it's possible).
Holly is all excited for the date. She tells her yaya about it, that Anya gave way for her to date Josh. The door opens and Margareth enters the room. She asks them what they are up to. Yaya tells Margareth that Holly is participating in a performance in school.If Margareth finds out about the date she will surely not let Holly go.
Margareth starts lecturing Holly again for doing nonsense things. Saved by the bell, Margareth gets a phone call and leaves the room.
Mando offers Anya a job. He informs her that his cousin needs a substitute in mascotting. Yup, Anya will be a mascot for children's party. She accepts the job since it pays good. She'll be paid P3,000 for one night.
Mang Pablito asks Josh if he's excited about his date. He says it's not really a date, he's only doing his job. Pablito asks him if he's ever been in love. He says he doesn't think so and shares that his mum used to tell him that love is like a magic. He tells Pablito that he doesn't know what it means. Pablito tries to explain it by describing the feeling of being in love—butterflies in the stomach, birds singing and bells ringing.
Holly arrives in the venue and gives the confirmation letter to the restaurant staff. Chit briefs Josh about his appointments and that starts with his date with the winner. She reminds him to be nice to his date.
On his way out of the hotel, a group of fans run towards him. Josh panics so he runs away. He ends up entering the ladies room. He finds Anya's costume and takes it with him. Anya goes out from the cubicle only to find out her costume is missing. She looks around then she sees someone wearing her costume. Josh runs when she asks him to give back her costume.
She follows him all the way to the basement. Then Josh trips and falls to the ground. She goes to him to get her costume, asks him to take it off. Josh stands up and turns to her. Anya is startled when she sees him. She is about to ask if he is Josh but fans found him. He excuses himself, tells her that he's borrowing the costume and he runs again.
Anya tries to explain to her employer what happened but she doesn't believe her. She tells Anya to pay for the costume she lost or else she'll bring her to the police.
Josh arrives in the restaurant and meets Holly, and he apologizes for being late. Then a restaurant staff rings a bell. Oh, is that what Mang Pablito was talking about? He turns around to see where the sound is coming from. He smiles like he remembers what Mang Pablito told him.
On her way home, Anya passes by Mando. He asks her what happened and why she looks upset. She tells him the unfortunate incident, how unlucky she is—she lost a job, didn't get a pay and the worst she has to pay for the costume.
When she gets home, she tells her ninang and her brother about the costume. Her ninang reacts when she said that it's Josh Bradley who took her costume. He teases her and says they must be soulmates, she must be destined for Josh—She gave away the chance to meet Josh but still fate made a way for them to meet. Anya responds that if there is really a destiny then she should have met again the boy who saved her from the fire. She says she wants that boy to be her soulmate.
Josh and Holly start getting to know each other. He asks her about her family, then also shares about his mum. He excitedly talks about his memories with his mum. He seems comfortable with Holly and maybe he sees that she's reliable so he shares his stories to her.
Anya takes out from the cabinet the broken watch, her only remembrance from the boy who saved her. She reminisces again about the fire.
Holly helps Josh to get out from the restaurant and escape from his bodyguards.
