Rewatching the accident scene. I think Ma Ru and Eun Gi were both unaware of who's on the other car. They're both suicidal and their minds were floating. Ma Ru smiled when he saw a car oncoming and in the same lane because he was ready to die (because like I said, he's suicidal!). Their head lights were both in high beam, so it's highly possible that they didn't recognize each other's car, plus they're both not in right state of mind. Aw. So is this the start of tear-jerking episodes? Which is LKH's forte. I just hope that the narrative won't go too sentimental and won't become unrealistic and illogical. The last part of the episode is really sad, I want to cry :(
Actually, I'm now unsure whether Maru and Eun Gi were not aware that they're driving towards each other. What do you guys think? I'd like to believe Eun Gi didn't know it's Maru's car, same for Maru.
