I first saw this adorable kid in the movie Ghost, and just recently, I saw her again in this cute music video called Maru Maru Mori Mori. Take note, the video has about 4 million views, and other videos of her have also reached million hits. I got curious how famous she is so I did some research. I found out that this little girl named Ashida Mana is actually a superstar.
Mana Ashida has also done voice-over roles for the Japanese release of foreign films namely, Despicable Me and Aftershock. Last year, she debuted as singer together with child actor Suzuki Fuku. They sang the theme song of their drama "Marumo no Okite". The same year, she released her solo album with the carrying single Sutekina Nichiyobi (Gyu Gyu Good Day). She was also a co-host on the variety/talk show Meringue no Kimochi and that made her the youngest regular host of a variety or talk show.
She became the youngest lead ever in Japanese TV drama history when she starred in Sayonara Bokutachi no Youchien, and the youngest radio host ever when she hosted the Nippon BS' radio show Children's Day Special—Ashida Mana's Favorite Songs.
This kid is just so blessed with talents and opportunities. Check out the videos below to see how adorable and super cute she is. My two year old niece and I have been watching her videos repeatedly. It's inevitable to sing and dance along with her cheerful songs.
