Dream High premiered on Philippine TV


Last Monday, April 16, ABS-CBN started airing the most popular teen Korean drama of 2011, Dream High. It is topbilled by stars from famous idol groups—Bae Suzy of Miss A, Taecyeon and Wooyoung of 2PM, Ham Eun Jung of T-ara, IU and Kim Soo Hyun. 

From the data published by Kantar Media -TNS, the premiere garnered 10.5% rating. The plot revolves around six teenagers, who dream to become famous stars in the Korean music industry, and the journey to their dreams begin at Kirin Art High School. These students work hard and do whatever it takes to make their dreams happen. This drama may be loosely described as the Korean version of Glee. 


Seeing these fresh-faced young actors on primetime is a breath of fresh air. Here's the trailer dubbed in Filipino:
