A broadcast studio confirmed they offered Kim Hyun Joong a role for the drama adaptation of the comic series, "City Conquest". Nothing has been finalized yet but this could be Kim's TV come back project.
City Conquest is a comic book series first published in 1996. It has nearly 270 issues. The story is about the main character Bak Mir who fights against corruption.
Kim last appeared in the drama, "Playful Kiss". Earlier this year, he was reported to star in the drama "Speed" but had to drop the project due to his busy schedule.
The drama will be directed by Yang Yoon-ho and will be writen by Hwang Joo Ha.
