Nandito Ako Episode 5

Holly and Anya settle their differences and offer each other friendship.


Episode 5 Recap

Josh talks to Chit. He is requesting to include Nandito Ako in his song line-up for the concert. He says it's for his mum, because it's her favorite song.

Holly goes to Anya's house and explains everything to Teresa. She stresses nothing bad happened to Anya that night, that someone did attempt to hurt her but she arrived just in time to stop it. She says Anya only went with Gerald because he asked her to be his tutor. She also explains that the 5000 in Anya's wallet was from her, that she just wanted to help in return for Anya's kindness.

Meanwhile, Steve talks to his men. He tells them to keep an eye on Josh. He orders them to make sure Josh won't find out that everything about his mum's death were all fake.

Josh comes in and says he heard them talking about his mum's grave. He asks Steve what it is all about. Steve explains they were just talking about its maintenance. Josh looks at his uncle and seems unconvinced. He says he's thinking of transferring her mum's grave to a nicer place. Steve gets nervous, laughs and responds, "Oh Josh..ahh...you can't be serious, right?" 

Josh responds—"She's my mother, uncle."  

Teresa hugs Anya, crying, "Forgive me, my daughter. I'm sorry for not believing you."  She tells Anya that her classmate came and explained everything. Anya asks Teresa who is it and she tells her it's Holly. She can't believe what she heard, asking her mum if she's sure about it.

Holly sees her mum drinking when she gets home. She begs her to stop, tells her she is willing to help her. Margareth laughs, says, "Help? Look at you. You can't even fix your own life and you want to help me? Please just leave."  Holly responds, "Please tell me your problem. I'll do anything for you, mum." Margareth angrily replies, "Fine! Do you really want to know my problem? I just saw your father's mistress again!"

She tries to comfort her mum but Margareth starts to put the blame on her. "It's your fault why your dad left me. I gave all my attention to you that's why he looked for another woman!" 

Tears fall from Holly's eyes, "Is that the reason why you can't love me. Mum, remember I lost him too...and I never felt that you love me." Furious Margareth replies, "Because you're not my daughter!". 

Shocked by what she heard, Holly asks Margareth what she means. Margareth calms down and continues, "You don't deserve to be my daughter."

In a restaurant, Billy introduces to Josh a waiter who claims to be a psychic. Josh refuses to try it but eventually gives in to Billy. The "psychic" starts to talk, "I see love, you will love two women." Josh laughs and says it's crazy. Mr. psychic continues, "One is the girl who saved your life, and the other girl is the one who will save you."

Anya Goes to Holly's house to thank her. She tries to return the money but Holly tells her to take it and consider it a loan if she doesn't want to accept help. Anya agrees and promises to give it back with interest. She thanks her again and turns back to leave but Holly stops her. "Anya wait...Can you be my friend? Can we be friends?". 

In the morning, Billy teases Josh about last night. Josh says it is silly. Billy tells him he looked like he remembered someone when the psychic said the girl saved his life. Josh says it's impossible, he didn't even get that girl's name. Billy—"Who knows you'll meet again, and you two are destiny." (Okay, the corny part starts.)

Josh smiles and tells Billy he doesn't believe in destiny stuff. Chit comes in and tells Josh about his concert promo. She tells him they will be having "date Josh Bradley" contest for the fans who buy his album. The girls will write a message for Josh and  he will pick the winner.

Holly sees the TV ad about "Win a date with Josh Bradley contest" and she seems interested. She asks Anya to go with her to watch Josh's mall tour.
